The New WHCR is a not for profit company. It costs a lot of money to run the station and we need to raise cash on a regular basis. This can come from a number of different sources including grants, radio advertising, magazine advertising and donations.

We are a member of the Hull & Humber Chamber of Commerce.

The New WHCR is restricted in the amount of revenue it can get from the local business community. A maximum of 50% can come from this source. We do offer advertisers an uncluttered environment for their message to be heard by a potential audience of over 90,000 adults in West Hull and the surrounding villages of Anlaby, Cottingham, Hessle and Willerby.

We offer a number of different packages to suit all businesses including:-

SPOT ADVERTISING

We can write, produce and broadcast information about your business on the radio - we broadcast three ad breaks an hour at 10 past, half past and 10 to the hour..

SPONSORSHIP

Tthere are a number of shows and features you can support with your business name and short message attached including regular features such as weather and travel information, music features like 'The Beatles Break' or 'The Spotlight' entertainment news and full shows such as 'Peter Marsham's Morning Show' or 'Solid Gold Saturday Night'.

MAGAZINE ADVERTISING

We publish a quarterly magazine'WH Link' which is distributed through local shops, garages and other venues - you can advertise within this and have a radio version of your magazine advert broadcast.
